Polymer Hearts

Look what I've been up to. My to do list still consists of painting 7 curio cabinets, painting/collaging 9 canvases, making several more polymer hearts, painting the hearts and encasing a handfull. Luckily I had this week off to get a head start on this project. This is all for the featured artist (me) at the Artist Nook in February. I'll give more details as they come available. Meanwhile, check back often to see how far I've gotten on my to do list. :)

Wow, you've really been busy. I love the picture of the "bulk" hearts. With your February show to prepare for are you still planning on doing an ebook for encased hearts for those of us that live too far away to attend your classes?

Yes, I am still working on the ebook and an online class. Thanks so much for all your patience.

I just discovered your art and had to smile when I saw the hearts all together like fresh cookies :)
I have made hearts in the past to place on my dolls, specially the Frida Kahlo replicas of those charms called "Milagros"
I find your hearts inside another hearts enchanting. I hope your New Year brings you even more inspiration and creativity. Bright Blessings to you. Griselda

Wow, I am IMPRESSED! And I never realized that the base of all your hearts is white clay, and that you add all the rest afterwards. Holy Moly. You go girl!

Tejae said...

Hey Polly, thank you. :) Not always white though. :) These just happen to be. :) Sometimes I use colored clay and layer with other clay.
