inspired 2009 and PolymerCafe

Wow! It's been such a busy summer here. Work is crazy busy and I haven't been able to post here like I would like to, but I do have some exciting news to share.

My basic "encased hearts" technique article is scheduled to appear in PolymerCafe in October. Be sure to pick one up! The article is a great introdution into encased hearts! If you've ever taken one of my classes you know I go into alot more detail on decorating in my classes but the article will help you understand how to put it together. Check out the article and have some fun with it. If you create hearts based on the article, I'd love to see them! Just leave me your link here on my blog or email me a picture and I'll post it here!

Other exciting news
I've been asked to teach at inspired 2009 in Concord, North Carolina May 7-9, 2009

This is a Donna Downey event. Donna described the inspired event as a way to bridge the gap between paper crafts and mixed media. She has 6 instructors each teaching 3-3 hour classes on Friday and Saturday. The attendees take all 6 classes being exposed to various mediums including painting, polymer clay, quilting, pmc and others.
There are also mini classes, demo's galore and shop, shop, shopping!
Paulette Insall will be there teaching too! Can't wait to meet her. She's a southern girl like me! Also teaching are Susan Edmonson, Jennifer Stewart, Carol Wingert, Cheryl Darrow of ten second studio

Read more about the event here. Registration begins August 1 2008. Hope you can join us!
